What is needed to use Joomla
If you are interested in using Joomla for the purpose of developing a website, then you should know the things that needed to be able to use joomla well. Actually, the need for software to run Joomla as well as it takes to run a script such as PHP, HTML, webserver. etc.. Here are some things that needed to use joomla.
The minimum system required for the installation of Joomla! 1.5.x are:
1. Apache version 1.3 upwards
2. PHP version 4.3.x to top
3. MySQL version 3.23.x to top

Of the three software on top of that we are required to configure it again that was not easy and requires a long time for someone who is not proficient, let alone that still lay with the three things above. However, do not worry because even a layman can easily run this application with the third one software package that already provides Apache, PHP, and MySQL. There are different kinds of web servers today, including: PHPTriad, EasyPHP, XAMP, Wamp Server, Uniserver, AppServ, and others. For this tutorial, I myself use WampServer as a web server.
